A Touch of the Gods – The Moon Nectar

In many ancient teachings, the human head symbolizes the Moon, exuding nectar (silver-white energy), which flows down the internal energy channel along the spine. This energy participates in almost all life-supporting and restoring systems of the human body, but the “hot” energy center located in the solar plexus evaporates this nectar, as a result of which a person loses vital energy and grows old.

The first level refers to the copious secretion of saliva that accompanies the feeling of lust. Food and sex are the two main causes that trigger salivation. When a person eats, food mixes with saliva – this helps to pulverize and moisten it before it passes into the stomach. In the stomach, saliva also aids in the digestive process and is itself broken down by gastric juice, known as digestive fire.

The second level (biological) is related to the activity of two glands, the epiphysis and the pituitary gland. The ancient texts that report the “evaporation of the inner moon” and the opening of the third eye are undoubtedly referring to the biophysical processes that occur in these two glands when consciousness is focused in the head center.

The pituitary gland produces hormones that regulate sperm production, testosterone levels, ovulation, contraction of the urinary duct, secretion of breast milk and urine, and body growth. In addition, the pituitary gland controls the thyroid gland (responsible for metabolism, growth and development) and the adrenal glands, which exert control over digestion, blood pressure, and heart rate. The hormones (biochemical messengers) secreted by the glands enter the bloodstream and are carried to all other parts of the body, control various processes in the body according to their catalytic function.

The epiphysis is located in front of the pituitary gland, is cone-shaped and consists of two lobes. It secretes substances containing a high concentration of phosphorus salts. In people with increased activity of the epiphysis, the ability to extrasensory perception was found.

The third level is mystical. It is manifested on the inner and outer planes. On the inner plane it is a deep unity with the teachers, wise spirits of those people who were able to free themselves from this world, but still act as guardians and guides, influencing humanity through the unconscious. Their Drops of Wisdom are received by man in the form of flashes of insight and inspiration. On the outer plane, they are the tears that pour out from a person in a moment of loving union, ecstasy and comprehension of transcendental wisdom.

The sages of antiquity understood the subtle workings of their bodies and used psychocosmic symbolism to explain their insights to others. Meditations and practices were developed to consciously stimulate the release of these droplets and influence all levels. Visualize a blindingly brilliant inverted image of the sound “OM” and above it the first vowel sound, “A,” from which the moon disk emerges. The internal heat of the umbilical center creates steam that rises, nectar begins to drip from the image of the “OM” sound and the moon disk. This syllable and the moon begin to emit light. The person should perceive these rays and drops as a means of nourishing and transforming his psycho-organism.

At the navel area is the burning sun and at the base of the palate is the shining moon full of nectar. The inner moon looks down and pours out the nectar, while the sun, opening its pharynx wide, greedily swallows it. This connection allows one to learn the secret practices that help to extract and preserve this nectar. If one is able to preserve the lunar nectar without giving it to the hungry mouth of the inner sun, then the body ceases to age and death cannot touch it.
